Cypress Homes builds model homes in many subdivisions throughout Washington, DC and Maryland, including Calvert, Caroline, Charles and Prince George counties. We also have a custom home side flourishing in the same areas. Indeed, we are one of the few award-winning custom home builders in the Washington Metropolitan Area. We will walk you through the custom process, first choosing a site, then a home style, then working a budget and financing, and finally, building your home.

Community

In addition to many charitable contributions made each year, Cypress Custom Homes is a Benefactor of the Benedictine School in Caroline County, Maryland, and the primary sponsor of the Sturge-Webber Foundation Fund Raising Event, which benefits The Kennedy-Krieger Center at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore , Maryland. That fund raiser is held the last Sunday in April anuually.

History

Founder and President Joseph DeCesaris acquired his real estate license in 1988 and worked in residential finance from 1990 to 2000. During these years he was also learning to build homes from Albert DeCesaris, Sr., and Thomas Vendemia, Sr., the two senior partners in Cypress Homes. These two were brickmasons when they began their careers. They went on to build over a thousand new homes.
